By enrolling your thermostat, you agree to let SWEPCO make brief, small adjustments to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand. You will receive a $50 gift card once you have successfully enrolled in the program. As long as you remain in the program, you will receive an additional $25 gift card for each thermostat enrolled following each anniversary of your enrollment.

How It Works

Sign Up
If you own a qualifying smart thermostat you may be eligible to participate. If you don’t own one yet, you can purchase a qualifying one and receive a rebate. Note that only qualifying smart thermostats with an ENERGY STAR® certification are eligible for a purchase rebate.

Earn $50+
Your utility will reward you for using less energy during times of peak electric demand by allowing small, temporary adjustments to your thermostat during peak electric demand.

Stay in Control
You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
