Through this program, SWEPCO will help pay for weatherization upgrades to make your home more energy efficient.
Benefits
Sealing your home from air leaks and adding insulation can help make your home more comfortable and energy efficient and can cut your annual heating and cooling costs by up to 10%. SWEPCO will help pay for the following energy-efficiency measures through this program:
- Insulation
- ENERGY STAR® LED Lighting
- Caulking and Weatherstripping
Underserved households that meet the set federal poverty guidelines for annual total household income may be eligible to receive the above energy-efficiency measures at no cost. If interested, please confirm your eligibility with the SWEPCO-approved contractor of your choice.
How It Works
Step 1: Start by selecting one of our approved contractors.
Step 2: Set up an appointment with your selected contractor to get a quote on the recommended energy-efficiency measure(s) for your home.
Step 3: Review your quote. The SWEPCO Energy Efficiency Incentive will be included in the quote. If you don’t approve the quote, you do not have to move forward with the work.
Step 4: The contractor performs the installation. We may contact you for feedback on your program experience and for an inspection to verify the work was performed to our program standards.
