Benefits
If you’re considering either a new or replacement heating and cooling system in your home, SWEPCO will help pay for the purchase and installation of high-efficiency heat pumps and air conditioning units — up to $3,500 for a qualifying unit. These high-efficiency units can dramatically increase the comfort level in your home while lowering your SWEPCO bill.
How It Works
Step 1: Start by selecting one of our approved contractors.
Step 2: Set up an appointment with your selected contractor to get a quote on a recommended high-efficiency air conditioning system for your home.
Step 3: Review your quote. The SWEPCO Energy Efficiency Incentive will be included in the quote. If you don’t approve the quote, you do not have to move forward with the work.
Step 4: The contractor performs the installation. We may contact you for feedback on your program experience and for an inspection to verify the work was performed to our program standards.
