Heat Pump Water Heater

Heat pump water heaters (HPWH) use electricity to move heat from one place to another instead of generating heat directly. HPWHs take heat from the surrounding air and transfer the heat to water in an enclosed tank. As a result, HPWHs are 3 to 4 times more efficient than a standard model.
